New Pledge Levels and Add-Ons! Resident Card Commissions! BunBun’s Menu unlocked! 16 hrs left!
6 months ago – Mon, Sep 22, 2025 at 11:19:56 PM

Phew! Kinda last minute, but I’m unlocking BunBun’s mini pin menu myself, and I’ve expanded the Pledge Level and Add-On choices in order to help fund some more pins! Check out the options and set up your preferred bundle. Once the campaign ends you will be able to tell me which unlocked designs you want for your choices via the backer survey.

I’ve also added a few wood pin designs with similar art style from my shop! So if you like these designs, this is a good opportunity to add them to your order and save on shipping! The Cat Mom, Dog Mom and Plant Mom wood pins come as singles or a set with limited supply based on what’s in my inventory.

Lastly, I’ve added a “Cozy Town Resident Card” commission option to both Pledge Levels and Add-Ons. Think Animal Crossing New Leaf’s “passport”, but for residents of Cozy Town! Get a chibi headshot of yourself, your pet, your character, etc. on a cute official Cozy Town card. Choose from digital only, or digital plus physical card. Digital comes with resident card art, plus isolated headshot to use as a profile pic. The physical card comes with the same, plus will be printed on heavy card stock with rounded corners!

BunBun’s menu concept sketches!
6 months ago – Wed, Sep 17, 2025 at 12:04:54 AM

Sharing more concept sketches tonight! This was my first pass at the BunBun’s menu mini pins.

I was fairly happy with it from jump, but you can see the cheese got more melty, the fries became crinkle cut, the shake got a bendy straw and the logo stripe flipped. Check out this lil weirdo on the end! I had a boba tee with bear ears lid once and thought it was the cutest thing ever! But a fluffy bunny shaped whipped cream worked better for this design. Here’s the drink inspiration below!

Poll Winner: Nostalgic BunBun’s Burger Joint!
6 months ago – Mon, Sep 15, 2025 at 11:28:04 PM

Looks like many of you have fond memories of drive-thrus serving Happy Little Bun Meals - Nostalgic flavor pulled out ahead! Here is the finalized art!

Thank you for your input everyone! I’m glad I asked, because I totally thought Literal would be 1st and Retro second! 😲

More concept sketches coming tomorrow as we kick off the final week of the campaign. I am sketching away on Cozy Town’s ice cream vendors, Pudge and Pop! I will also be considering a new pledge set-up to allow people to back more pins and help unlock more new designs. Lot’s to do before the finish line! Zoom!

New poll! Vote on your favorite version of BunBun’s burger joint!
6 months ago – Thu, Sep 11, 2025 at 01:12:21 AM

Bunbun’s burger joint pin sketches are in! You have until Sunday 3pm PST to vote which one you like the best:

Nostalgic Burger Joint - If you’re an 80s-90s kid, this counts as vintage now.

Literal Burger Joint - It’s a literal burger. How much burger is too much burger?

Retro Burger Joint - Clean, classic, and iconic. Loved by generations!

Cast your votes and put me to work! 🍔

BunBun the Carhop Concept Sketches!
7 months ago – Mon, Sep 08, 2025 at 02:06:31 PM

Hope everyone’s week is off to a good start! I thought I’d share some concept sketches from creating BunBun the Carhop today!

Here are my initial sketches of her! I felt the face on the one on the left looked too much like Cinnamoroll, one of my favorite Sanrio characters. My project mates thought the drumstick legs on the one on the right were funny. I’m not sure if they meant in a good way. I still think they look funny and cute! 😆 The squishy marshmallow bod in the middle was my favorite, but how to put skates on those little nubbin’ feet?! Well my friend, Shavo, just stole the skates from sketch one and pasted them on sketch 2. Sometimes problem solving is that easy and you just need another set of eyes on the thing to see that! Hahaha!

And here are some more variations in color! I maaay have been thinking about vanilla, chocolate and strawberry shakes while coloring. From left to right we’ve got very simple red and white, retro pastels and primary color carhop uniforms. In the end the classic red and white ala In-N-Out Burger appealed to me the most. You can see that the final BunBun art combines some of the best features from sketches 1 and 2!

More sketches coming this week! Thanks for having a look!
